The students will be able to
  • describe development objectives from the perspectives of the labour market and regional development
• participate in a partnership network
• work effectively in a team and act as opinion leaders in a community of experts
• evaluate their own and others’ competence, work and results in accordance with development objectives
• use the tools and methods of applied R&D in development work
• carry out and report on an objective-oriented development project
 
Content
  • determining development needs
• creating a context and knowledge base
• planning, implementing and evaluating the development process
• working in a shared expertise group
 
Description
  The study unit forms an objective-oriented development project, where the competence gained is that of a developer using investigative research methods. The object of competence development is determined for each cluster by Laurea’s research and development policy.

 
Prerequisites
  Main professional competences minimum of 120 cr or equivalent knowledge.
