The students will be able to
  • predict and evaluate the opportunities opened by ICT in business
• understand the close links between business development and a company’s overall strategy
• list the pros and cons of e-business from the points of view of a company and its consumer and business customers
• critically analyse existing e-business models and practices
• find and analyse new e-business models
• evaluate the demands placed by e-business on planning logistical solutions

Description
  The study unit looks at new kinds of operating models facilitated by ICT (e.g. order/supply chains and CRM), as well as new information-intensive products and services, and virtual service provision.
