The students will be able to
  • model businesses’ core and support processes
• determine how companies’ functions and processes relate to each other, forming a business entity which generates added value for customers
• apply laws and norms regulating business to their work
• carry out the bookkeeping of a small company
• understand the significance of values in business

Description
  The competence gained in this study unit relates to describing business operations as a whole, comprehending the significance of each element and the relationships between them as part of a customer-oriented business. This competence is based on analysing business operations and processes. Students learn about the principles of financial administration, law and logistics, and can recognise the importance of ethical values, trust and responsibility in business.
