• identify potential problem situations arising from work, individuals and groups, and their appearance in workplaces and networks
• use their roles to solve situations, being aware of their possibilities of influencing the solution as managers, and identifying their opportunities for developing as problem-solvers
• develop management and leadership skills
• work interactively in solving problems and evaluate the viability of measures
• use external assistance when necessary to solve problems
• assess the importance of good work and occupational welfare in profit-making and non-profit organisation, and set appropriate development objectives
• carry out an objective-oriented development project

The competence gained in the study unit relates to the students’ skills in identifying problem situations and solving them in their roles as experts and managers in diverse networks. The students apply their influence to solving problems, identifying problems arising from work, individuals and groups, and strengthening their problem-solving skills. They learn to use external assistance when necessary, when acting in diverse roles. Some core competences are using interactive methods to prevent and, if nec-essary, solve problem situations, at both profit-making and non-profit organisations. |
