The students will be able to
  • predict and evaluate the opportunities opened by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for the business
• analyse the possibilities and threats of e-business from different perspectives: the company, the clients, B2B context and retail sales
• evaluate and develop different alternatives for virtual service provision
• plan a website from the point of view of marketing communication
• take into account data protection and related juridical aspects in e-business
 
Content
  • The new phenomenom related to internet and its’ effect on business, marketing and consumer behaviour; virtual communities, web 3.0, technological advances
• Different business models in e-commerce; core concepts and earning models
• Electronic distribution channels
• Online marketing communication
• E-business and organizational culture
• Electronic services of the public sector

 
Description
  The objective of the course is to facilitate the student a comprehensive idea of e-Business and its development perspectives.

The course combines different learning environments (classroom, internet, wiki and Second Life).
